Safety is an integral part of the work culture at General Industries. While providing quality, detail, and pride in every structure we build, General Industries will complete your project in a timely and thorough manner without compromising safety in the progress. While meeting or exceeding all regulatory requirements for safety, our ultimate goal is always zero workplace injuries.

We take the following precautions at every job site to ensure safety at all times:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an integral part of the daily work life at General Industries. From project managers to construction laborers, safety is a team project.
• For fall protection purposes, properly sized, fitted, and adjusted safety harnesses are paramount to construction work on elevated surfaces.
• While ascending and descending ladders, three (3) points of contact are required at all times.
• Properly installed safety railing is required for all elevated openings as a fall protection measure.
• Retractors with centrifugal clutches are safety devices used throughout General Industries work sites.
• Certain construction tasks required being tied-off 100% of the time, even while applying OSHA approved safety cabling around the building perimeter.
• Properly donned and used safety equipment permits our workers to safely perform all general construction work tasks.
• Securely attached retractors provide 100% fall protection for each worker even during the earliest stages of construction.
• Safe, but comfortable work clothing is an absolute job requirement at General Industries.
