GI Holds "Welcome Luncheon"

Adjusting to a new work space can be an exciting transition, but also a bit daunting. General Industries (GI) likes to make the transition easier for new tenants by holding “Welcome Luncheons.”

Recently, GI spent the afternoon with some of the employees from Allegheny Power that will be moving offices to the new Paladin Professional Center in New Stanton. Paladin was built by GI in 2008, and is Class-A office space with 43,000 total square feet. Allegheny Power will occupy 14,451 SF of the 2^nd Floor at Paladin. The Tenant Fit-Out was completed in 90 days.

Numerous GI employees also attended the luncheon including: Van Evans, Project Manager; Harvey Lutes, Foreman; Matthew Ivill, Real Estate Manager; and Don Ivill, President.

The tenants were able to ask questions about their new location, take a tour of the facilities, and meet those that have been working to beautify their space. Lunch was provided by The Willow Room in Belle Vernon.

“It has been a pleasure working with the Allegheny Power team. I like to meet with our tenants and make sure they feel comfortable and welcome in their new environment,” said Don Ivill, President of GI. “When we have clients lease or build with us, they become part of our family, and we look forward to a long and lasting relationship with them.”
